Thank you for attending our Meet the Teacher events this past week! We can't wait to kick off another exciting school year!
As a reminder, parents will not be able to walk their elementary school students into the building on the first day of school. Each campus will have staff available to accompany the students and escort them to their classroom.
If you were not able to attend Meet the Teacher, please contact your child's campus for your child's SMART tag and schedule.

The 2024 Varsity Football Season Ticket Package is now available for purchase. The Season Ticket Package includes 1 ticket in reserve seating for all 5 varsity football home games.
Season Ticket packages can only be purchased online. Attached is a QR code that takes you to our website. You can also go directly to the CISD website and under athletics is a purchase ticket link.

Cleveland High School football program will be hosting a parent meeting on Thursday, August 8th from 6-7PM. This is a mandatory meeting for parents of athletes wishing to play football. Meeting will take place in the competition gym. Parents should park in the front parking lot located off of East Houston Street. We will disseminate information regarding the upcoming football season. Our goal is to have 100% parent participation.
CISD Community - We've had some questions arise regarding the portion of the sign-up form that states public comments will only be allowed for 30 minutes. To be clear, this ONLY applies to regular board meetings, and will not apply to the special meeting on July 30th. Public comments will continue until all speakers are accommodated.

We encourage you to complete this, print it, and physically provide it to the Board President before the meeting begins. Sign-ups will also be available in person until the start of meeting at 6:00PM. All sign-ups will CLOSE at 6:00PM on July 30th. If you wish to sign-up in person, we encourage you to arrive early in order to avoid any potential delays.

HOODIE POLICY UPDATE
The Cleveland ISD school board has approved for students to be able to wear hooded clothing for the 2024-2025 school year. However, while inside any CISD campus or facility, any hoods that are up must be removed to ensure safety and clear identification.

The Cleveland ISD School Board has approved for MESH backpacks to be allowed for student use during the 2024-2025 school year. Students may use mesh or clear backpacks only.

Cleveland High School Football will issue equipment on Saturday July 27, 2024 from 9 am to 12 pm. ALL athletes MUST HAVE PHYSICALS on file with Trainer Cline before they can receive equipment. Schedule for July 27: 9 am to 10 am- Seniors and Juniors 10 am to 11 am- Sophomores 11 am to 12 pm- Freshman

After assessing the power situation and communicating with Entergy Electric, Cleveland ISD will be closed for the remainder of this week. We plan to reopen at regular time on Monday, July 15th.
