This past October, George Arriaga, a sophomore at Cleveland High School, competed against thousands of other students across the nation in a Python coding competition hosted by Firia Labs. The goal of this competition was to maneuver several virtual "Escape Rooms", each involving a different programming task to complete that would award points.
George secured first place in the High School category with an incredible 18,924 points! By winning this competition, George received an Amazon gift card and a special robotics kit for his classroom!
We're so proud of George for this national recognition!
Thanks to George's teacher, Brian Stafford, and Mark and Eddie from TexPro Automation for being in attendance and honoring George last week during a special ceremony. George has a standing internship offer for TexPro Automation when he graduates!
