GRADUATION REQUIREMENT!

In accordance with Texas Education Code (TEC), §28.0256, students graduating during the 2024-2025 school year must do one of the following in order to graduate:  

  • Complete and submit a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA);

  • Complete and submit a Texas Application for State Financial Aid (TASFA); or

  • Submit a signed opt-out form.

Parents/seniors if you need assistance please contact anyone in the college center. If you have completed this requirement you must show us proof of the submitted application. You may submit proof to the college center or via email to cecilia.rodriguez@clevelandisd.org

Community Service Hours

Community Service Hours Information

Students may start accumulating community service hours beginning their freshman year but must keep up with their hours and turn them in to the college center their senior year. Seniors will be recognized for their community service hours by receiving a cord, a minimum of 100 hours must be turned in to be recognized.

Community Service Cords by Hours

100 hours= Solid Black Cord

250 hours= Black & Silver Intertwined Cord

500 hours= Black & Gold Intertwined Cord

1,000 hours= Black & Red Intertwined Cord
