Our CHS Cheer teams travelled to University of Texas in Austin this week to attend the Texas V UCA Cheer Camp. 

 

Cleveland Varsity received the following awards:

 

Grand Champion in Game Day

Gold Superior ribbon in Camp Dance

Blue Superior ribbon in Sideline Cheer 

3rd place in Camp Dance

3rd place in Sideline

2nd place in Cheer 

3 Spirit Sticks 

 

Cleveland JV received the following awards:

 

Red Excellent ribbon in Camp Dance

Red Excellent ribbon in Sideline Cheer

3rd place in Sideline 

3 Spirit Sticks 

 

We also had 7 All Americans for CHS: 

 

Edith Miranda (Varsity Captain)

Kale Wood (Varsity Lieutenant)

Jordan Macedo (Varsity)

Alexis Cortes (Varsity)

Mariana Hernandez (Varsity)

Christian Rendon (JV)

Kaniya Waller (JV) 

 

4 of our CHS Cheerleaders received the Pin it Forward Award which recognizes athletes that stand out from all the rest! Those Cheerleaders were Edith Miranda (Varsity Captain), Jordan Macedo (Varsity), Alexis Cortes (Varsity), and Christian Rendon (JV). 

 

To top it all off, ALL 6 Senior Cheerleaders were invited to apply to be UCA staff members! 

 

We couldn’t be more proud of what they accomplished this week, and are off to an amazing start to the 23-24 school year!
