My background includes graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from Kansas State University.. Ten years later I received a Master of Business Administration. from Texas A & M University at Corpus Christi. I worked as an engineer for more than two decades in mining, chemicals and manufacturing industries in a variety of positions and in a handful of states. In 2004 I earned my alternative teaching certificate and am certified in the physical sciences and began teaching immediately. Courses taught include Physics, Chemistry, Earth and Space Science, Astronomy and Integrated Physics and Chemistry. I joined Cleveland ISD in the year beginning 2018-19. I enjoy teaching real world applications and having my students complete relevant projects. I support my students in extra curricular activities and believe these opportunities make for a well-rounded and more confident students.
During the 2020-21 school year I will be teaching Physics for periods 2,3 and 4th and Chemistry for periods 1 and 7. My conference time is during 6th period and I will be assisting with lunch duty during 5th period.
